Cricket Creek Farm is grass-based dairy located in Williamstown, Mass. They currently make five different cheese from the milk of 25 happy cows. This winter, for the first time ever, they are extending their cheese CSA to Brooklyn. Pick-up is available at local wine shops, including Thursdays at Vine Wine at 616 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg. When you sign up for a Holiday (Nov. 14-Dec. 26) or Winter (Nov. 14-March 19) share, Vine will give you a 15 percent discount on one of their Fall Wine Six-Packs. Full (.75lbs a week) and double (1.5lbs a week) shares are available. Just tell the nice folks at Vine that you read about the CSA here on BB and they’ll happily discount your seasonal six-pack when you come in to collect your cheese. Just pick up some bread on the way home and call it the best dinner ever.
