The Session Sessions

By

Saturday marks a huge step in the world of boozing, as on this date (4/7), back in 1933, Prohibition ended for those who wanted to drink session beers (brews with a 4% alcohol limit). Soon the 18th Amendment would be repealed entirely and we could start drinking as much alcohol, in whatever form we wanted. The Diamond Bar celebrates this day by offering up a selection of session beers for $4, all day and all night. That’s 4% beers for $4. So bring some money for the jukebox and hope for awesome weather (everyone loves the backyard at the Diamond) and get ready to sip on some Victory Dark Lager, Brooklyn Oishi and more. For more info about 4/7, now known as Session Beer Day, check out The Session Beer Project.
