The author of some of this book-fiend’s favorite beach reads, Mr. Colson Whitehead, will be celebrating the paperback release of his latest novel Zone One this week at BookCourt. Whitehead reimagined the genre completely with Zone One, combining a last man/everyman hero, existential quandries, and, well… zombies. The new edition is right in time for summer (’cause who wants to take a hardcover to the beach?) and the event will have the usual party, signing, and reading, as well as a Q&A with Mr. Whitehead himself.
