A few weeks ago, I went to a birthday party at the Crown Vic and I was blown away by the outdoor space there. For starters, it’s enormous (maybe the biggest I’ve seen in NYC) and replete with picnic tables, a motorcycle, street art murals and beer pong tables. It is the ideal place to set up camp at a picnic table with a bunch of friends and just hang and drink cocktails all day. For that reason alone, you should check it out if you haven’t already, but now the bar has announced that, in addition to its normal menu, it is going to be having a pig roast every Sunday for the rest of the summer. Show up around 4ish if you want to partake in the porcine bonanza, and don’t expect to leave hungry. –K.H.
