If there are two things Risen likes to write about, it’s history and hooch. He’ll be at Sycamore on Feb. 24 for their next Flowerside Chat to discuss America’s fondness for the dark spirit, during a whiskey tasting with Kansas City’s Dark Horse Distillery. The event will also feature a specialty cocktail from Switchel Brooklyn, so stop by to toss back a tipple.
