Thursday at 61 Local, the watering hole of choice for many a Brooklyn artisan, an online marketplace for locally made furniture and decor will celebrate its launch. Called WorkOf, the site features beautiful, handmade furniture and lighting by New York City makers, many of whom will be on hand at the party alongside some of their works, which will furnish the mezzanine like a living room. Doors open at 7pm, though you can ogle their gorgeous pieces anytime.
Hand made furniture is always better.
