We’ve got good news and bad news. Trois Pommes Patisserie, the bakery that has supplied Park Slope with homemade red velvet twinkies and other treats for the past seven years, is closing its doors on Sunday due to one of those increasingly common aggressive rent hikes that seem hell bent on ruining everything. However, this unfortunate development is slightly tempered by rumors that the shop will relocate to Sunset Park and the fact that it seems determined to go out in style on its final day. Starting at 5pm, they are throwing a farewell party and bake sale for anyone who wants to drop by. For a mere $10, you’ll get booze and food and, according to Trois Pommes’ Facebook page, “all the baked goods you can grab.”
