On Friday night, you can catch the multi-platinum, nine-time-Grammy-winning Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, in concert at Coney Island’s new outdoor live music venue, the Ford Amphitheater. As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t get much better than watching a live performance of Family Affair and Real Love by the deadly cool Blige on a late summer evening on the boardwalk, but because it’s Friday you also get a the free fireworks show over the beach.
