Every Tuesday night, comedians Dan Licata (above), Joe Pera, and Charles Gould host a stand-up showcase at The Shanty, the bar at NY Distilling Company, makers of Perry’s Tot and Dorothy Parker gins. With a list of past performers that includes big names like Eugene Mirman, Janeane Garofolo, Sasheer Zamata, Chris Gethard, and Roy Wood, Jr., it seems like a comedy event worth checking out, and this week is as good a time as any. The show is free and it starts at 8:30pm and be warned, the drinks at The Shanty are very, very good and quite strong.
