I have heard a lot of good things about Las Culturistas, a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Matta Rogers and Bowen Yang, but I haven’t had a chance to give it a listen yet, despite the fact that Esquire, The A.V. Club, and Time Out New York are all obsessed with it. This Friday night, June 29, The Bell House is presenting a fantastic opportunity to experience the essence of the show up close and in person. Starting at 8pm, 50-odd comedians (including Josh Gondelman, Janelle James, and Kevin Allison) will take the stage for one minute each to rant about a piece of pop culture that ignites their passion, and it sounds pretty entertaining to me. The show is called I Don’t Think So Honey, and tix are $20.
