Sunday in Brooklyn: Bon Appetit

By

On Sunday, find yourself some elastic-waisted pants and get ready to eat your heart out– there are food-centric events happening all over Brooklyn and if you pace yourself, you might be able to squeeze them all in. First, the 14th annual NYC Coffee & Tea Festival is back at the Brooklyn EXPO Center on Saturday and Sunday, complete with drinks poured by more than 75 exhibitors and seminars covering a variety of topics related to the caffeinated drinks that get most of us through the day; the Sunday session starts at noon and tickets are $25. Next, the Brooklyn Chocolate Takedown is serving up all kinds of treats made by amateur home cooks at Lot 45 from 2-4pm, and you can sample everything for just $25. If that doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, sugar abounds at Dessert Goals, which is back in Long Island City all weekend with a curated selection of delicious and highly photogenic treats from dozens of local vendors like Dough, Baked, and Oddfellows. Tickets to the Sunday sessions start at $12, and if you feel like you’re going to burst after all that, it’s going to be warm enough to walk it off.
