Pickle Day on the LES

By

If you’re a pickle lover and have never made it to the annual Pickle Day festivities on the Lower East Side, this is the perfect time as the beloved brine-focused event is now celebrating its 20th year of existence! From noon to 5pm on Sunday, a significant stretch of Orchard Street will be blocked off so that attendees can sample pickles and pickle-themed treats (dill pickle ice cream, anyone?) from dozens of vendors. The event is free, and includes entertainment for all ages like face painting, carnival games, and DJs. While you’re in the neighborhood, take a stroll through the new Essex Market, which has a much more modern, open vibe than its predecessor.
