On Saturday night, The Ace Hotel is hosting Crit Night, a seasonal series highlighting the works in progress of past and present artists-in-residence at Pioneer Works from 6-8pm. The evening’s program includes Jenny Perlin’s films about subterranean bunkers across America, a workshop on applause, an open mic hosted by Maia Chao of acceptance/rejection letters that you are invited to bring in and read, and live music from Quenton Stuckey. The event is free to attend, although donations are encouraged and you should RSVP.
