Run to Them

On Saturday night, House of Yes takes a break from its typically over-the-top artistic spectacles with a good old-fashioned straightforward gig (well, as straightforward as they can manage – stilt walkers and aerialists are, as always, a possibility.) Anglo-American act Five O’Clock Heroes, though based in the US, have historically been more successful in the UK; despite the fact that they’ve been around since 2003 and recorded a song with hipster model Agyness Deyn, their first US release, Different Times, only just came out last month. That said, their uptempo rock music makes for a great show. The party starts at 9pm with an hour-long open bar, followed by an opening set by House of Yes-based band Kings County; Five O’Clock Heroes play at 11:30pm, with music from DJ Ezrakh following until 5am.
