It’s hard to categorize live performances by Japanese psych band Acid Mothers Temple, outside of the fact that they’re LOUD. Find out for yourself at Tuesday night’s gig at the Knitting Factory, where they’ll be playing to support the release of their new album, Pink Lady Lemonade – You’re From Inner Space. The album features their popular live track “Pink Lady Lemonade,” broken into four movements and lasting over an hour. Expect similar, occasionally meandering, often deafening music on Tuesday; edgy Brooklynites Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers open.
