Gallivanting on the Greenway

Grab your bike and join the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for its annual spring bike tour this Saturday. If you don’t know, the Brooklyn Greenway is a planned tree-lined bike and pedestrian route that will eventually connect Greenpoint and Sunset Park along the waterfront, and we are beyond pumped for the project to reach fruition. Saturday’s guided ride will cover the northern 10 miles, from Greenpoint to Red Hook, and will end back at Pier 6 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, where you can check out the fleet of tall ships that will be docked for Fleet Week or hop a ferry to Governors Island. Don’t worry if you aren’t a competitive cyclist– the pace will be “family-friendly.” The ride is free, but you’re have to pre-register by emailing
