Rocking Williamsburg Park

By

Williamsburg Park is a new park space on N. 12th Street and Kent Avenue, specifically designed to host outdoor concerts–it has an amazing stage and some of the best outdoor acoustics in the city. And even though it’s early August, this summer’s concert series is just heating up, with awesome acts scheduled through the beginning of October.

This summer Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn is bringing a stellar line-up of artists to North Brooklyn with the LACOSTE L!VE Concert Series at Williamsburg Park. The series helps support OSA’s work expanding and improving parks and greenspaces throughout North Brooklyn. We’re pretty stoked any time we get to see Brooklyn faves Antibalas play a free show (August 18) and after David Byrne’s beyond lovely performance at Celebrate Brooklyn a few years back, his show with indie darling St. Vincent (September 29) is definitely on our must-see list.

Come hungry–The Meat Hook will be serving tacos, burgers, queso and hot dogs at each show, Bon Chovie and No. 7 Sub will have sandwiches on offer, and Big Gay Ice Cream will sate your every cold creamy desire all summer long.

The complete schedule’s below–buy all your Williamsburg Park tickets here.
