When Brooklyn Based reader Tomoko Minami won our contest with custom tailor Bindle & Keep back in April, she was stoked to score a bespoke suit, but not for herself. She generously gave the grand prize to her husband, David Scotchford.
Daniel Friedman, co-founder, went to their apartment in Gowanus for several fittings, and then presented David and Tomoko with the final product about a month ago. “Daniel from Bindle & Keep was fantastic,” says David. “I learned so much about how a suit should fit and look while customizing everything from the fabric to small details like stitching color and lining. I love the suit and look forward to wearing it!”
