For the next two weekends, the pop-up market Fashion on the Factory Floor offers a great way to shop local, cutting edge design for the holidays. Featuring fashion and accessories designers in a cool, 22,000-square-foot industrial space at Industry City, Fashion On The Factory Floor is part of the Made in NYC campaign, which helps people find locally made products from more than 1,100 NYC manufacturers to create jobs, reduce environmental impacts and celebrate New York’s extraordinary wealth of design and production talent. Fashion on the Factory Floor also features artisan workshops and delicious local food. The market opens Nov. 23 and runs for two weekends in a row at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn (241 37th Street at 3rd Avenue). The event is presented by Made in NYCIndustry City, Con Edison, CITI and the Pratt Center for Community Development with support from Manufacture NYSave the Garment Center, the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and The  Emerging Designer.
