We hope that you are building your Saturday schedule around our Total Gowanus Immersion, which features a bar crawl at some of our favorite local watering holes, lots of deals from participating local shops, and the chance to toast the final month of summer canalside, with friends old and new. Tickets start at $15 and include a free Brooklyn Brewery beer at each stop on the crawl: Mission Dolores, Parklife, Three’s Brewing, and Pig Beach, but you can also get lunch for an additional $10, not to mention discounts at Ample Hills, Twig Terrariums, Gowanus Souvenir Shop, 718 Cyclery, and Dinosaur BBQ. The fun starts at noon, and if you’re still standing at the end of the day, might we suggest that you mosey on over to Williamsburg for the Fourteenth Annual Madonnathon at Brooklyn Bowl at 8:30pm? Tickets are $15 each and include a million people in awesome costumes (we assume), as well as live covers of all of the Material Girl’s hits and the best dance party in town.
