An open rehearsal at the Guggenheim

By

Not making it to Carnegie Hall this month? Not to worry, the Guggenheim’s got you covered! As part of their Works & Process initiative, on Tuesday evening they’ll be hosting Brad Lubman’s Ensemble Signal as they rehearse a new piece for their Carnegie Hall show, which features brand new music from minimalist composer Steve Reich. It’s a chance to get an intimate listen to musical compositions sans fancy technical equipment, and the composers will discuss their pieces with the audience as well. Let’s get classy at the Gug, people! Tickets are $40, $35 for museum members.
