On Saturday, cobble together your most striking ensemble and check out Brooklyn’s answer to The Met Gala—the first ever People’s Ball at the Brooklyn Public Library. Billed as a celebration of “imagination, style and freedom—with a touch of subversion,” the party encourages everyone who attends to make a memorable entrance on the red carpet and strut his or her stuff on the catwalk.
