On Saturday, Brooklyn Public Library is hosting what has now become an annual event: the all-night marathon of philosophical debate, performances, screenings, readings, and music from notable philosophers from all over the globe known as A Night of Philosophy and Ideas. If nothing else, you’re sure to run into some really interesting people at a 3:30am lecture on why philosophy needs intersectional gender theory more than ever. The full schedule of programming, which runs from 7pm Saturday to 7am Sunday, includes a series of lectures on topics like “Is Your Sex Life Actually Active?,” guided meditations, juggling performances, and much more, and it’s all free to attend.
