New Women Space, on the cusp of East Williamsburg and Bushwick, is a welcoming community and event space that hosts a variety of programming geared towards and run by women, femme, queer, transgender and gender-nonconforming people. And every Tuesday through March in honor of Women’s History Month, they’ll be hosting trivia night based on a different TV show that had strong female leads. Up first: Living Single!
And in the true name of community, fear not if you want to attend alone. Groups will be made up of four team members, and you’re free to come solo and be matched up with others. Test your knowledge, make some new friends, and maybe take home the cash prize! You can reserve your spot for free and pay $5 when you get there, or pay in advance. Trivia begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday evening at New Women Space in East Williamsburg.
